NORTON —A Mansfield woman charged last year with stealing an estimated $100,000 from a local dental office is now being prosecuted in superior court.

Ann-Margaret Baldwin, 44, of 56 Benefit St., in Mansfield, pleaded innocent earlier this month in Fall River Superior Court to a six-count indictment charging her with larceny of more than $250 by a single scheme and credit card fraud of more than $250, according to court records.

She is free on $500 cash bail and is due back in court May 25 for a pretrial conference.

When she was arraigned last year in Attleboro District Court, a prosecutor said the charges were related to alleged thefts from Norton Dental Associates at 190 East Main St., in Norton. Baldwin worked part-time from 2013 until July 2015, when she was fired, according to court records.

Baldwin is accused of using a portion of the stolen funds to pay for a vacation to Myrtle Beach, S.C., in July 2014, where she and four other guests stayed at the Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort for a week, according to court records.

Baldwin was a former Mansfield selectwoman when she was charged in January 2010 with stealing while employed at a Pediatric Dental Care in Mansfield.

She later admitted police had sufficient facts to find her guilty of larceny and was ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution.

The case was later dismissed after she completed her probation, according to court records.
